Mosquitoes & ticks are almost 100% immune to normal repellents - Here's how you protect your family safely from bites forever

I thought mosquito bites were just part of summer, until I saw how bad it could get…

Desperate for solutions, my doctor shared something I hadn’t even considered.

It completely changed how we spent our summers and kept us bite-free for good.

Finally, I found a safe way to protect my kids and my older mother from the dangers of bites.

Here's why I never let my kids leave home without it.

1: I never thought a mosquito bite could be this bad...

1. I never thought a mosquito
bite could be this bad...

It all started when my daughter woke up with 15 mosquito bites.

The bites were swollen, a fever started to rise, and I could see tears in her eyes.

When we arrived at the hospital, the doctor explained she had a mosquito-borne virus.

"You need to protect your daughter from this, children are extra prone to diseases." The doctor said.

I felt like a bad mother, knowing I could’ve used our mosquito spray.

But I skipped it this time because my daughter hates how greasy and sticky it feels on her skin.

Desperate, I asked the doctor how I could protect my children from this happening again.

He explained that to protect ourselves, we need to understand how mosquitoes find us.

And his answer shocked me...

2: Regular sprays do more harm then good...

For centuries, female mosquitoes have been naturally drawn to living creatures with blood. Like humans or animals.

They find their target by using their antennae, which sense the air we breathe out.

And when they detect this, they know exactly where we are and start sucking our blood.

That’s why we often get bitten when we’re active and sweating, because we release more of our scent.

"Can’t we just use mosquito spray?" I asked.

The doctor shook his head and said, "Mosquitoes may not like the spray, but it doesn’t block our scent, so they still find us."

But even worse, since these sprays absorb into your skin, you have to reapply them constantly.

In the best case, they irritate the skin. But in worst cases, they can damage the nervous system. Children are especially prone to these harmful effects.

As a mother, I felt awful. Had I been spraying my kids with toxic chemicals that didn’t even work?

3: The solution had two 100% natural ingredients

100% natural ingredients

When I asked my doctor if there was a safer, more effective way to protect my kids, I couldn’t believe him.

He began by asking: "Did you know plants have evolved a smart way to repel bugs, especially mosquitoes?"

When plants release their scent, mosquitoes think there’s no food source, so they move on.

Studies even show that using these plant oils can reduce bites by 96.7%.

“You could buy these oils yourself, but if you put them on your skin, they’ll be absorbed just like regular sprays. Causing you to constantly reapply,” he said.

"Try these stickers instead. They have these exact natural oils" he added, handing me a small pack of stickers.

At first, I was doubtful. I'd seen similar stickers on Amazon, but their ingredients weren’t natural.

Still, I decided to give it a try. And looking back, it was one of the best decisions I ever made for my kids...

4: She didn't get a single bite during the whole day

Luckily, my daughter recovered from the virus, but I swore I’d never let it happen again.

So, one week later, I pulled out the stickers the doctor had given us.

I placed one sticker on each of her arms and two on her clothes before sending her off to school.

And even if we live in a mosquito-prone area, she came home without a single bite!

Plus, the stickers were still on, even after playing outside all day.

It felt like such a relief as a mother seeing her happy again, not traumatized by the virus.

And the best part? We didn't have to apply greasy and dangerous mosquito repellents throughout the day.

It felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders.

But then I realized, my daughter wasn’t the only one who needed this...

5: They even kept my older mother protected from ticks!

After what happened to my daughter, I told everyone about these stickers.

So when I found out they worked for ticks too, I gave them to my older mom to try in her garden.

At first, she didn't believe they would work. But to test them, she placed a tick right on the sticker, and it immediately crawled away.

And since the natural oils are in the stickers, they last up to 24 hours, so she’s able to work in her garden for the whole day.

She feels relieved not to have to constantly check her legs for ticks.

And to be honest, I was relieved too. Because tick bites are no joke, especially with new diseases going around.

And after hearing the news last night, I realized the risks are only getting worse...

6: Mosquito & tick season will be worse than ever

Recent studies prove that the mosquito population has increased tenfold in the past decades.

And it’s growing at an exponential rate.

They’re spreading new diseases and making it harder to fight with old sprays.

This is largely due to climate change creating more humid places. Something mosquitoes love for breeding.

Hearing this, I knew I had to act quickly.

So, I immediately ordered 5 packs of these stickers for me and my family.

If I hadn’t acted fast, I would have had to choose between spraying my kids with chemicals or risking their health.

And with new mosquito and tick-borne diseases on the rise, it felt like a tough decision either way.

BONUS TIP: They even had a bite-free guarantee!

Luckily, Fjällbris offers a 30-day risk-free trial. We first tested one, and then ordered five packs.

But looking back, I wish I’d bought even more from the start, because now I always keep extras on hand.

Fjällbris even has a summer offer now during the worst mosquito season.

And the last time they had this offer, the stickers sold out within 2 days.

So if you’re unsure, this is the perfect way to test them out risk-free.

If they don't work for you, you can just return them and get every penny back.

But knowing how dangerous mosquitoes and ticks are, this is the safest way.

Questions from the readers

How many stickers do I need for effective protection?

I use about 2-3 stickers for my kids and 3-4 for myself. I place them on their sleeves, pant legs, and sometimes their hats. For a whole summer, I’d say you’ll need about 3-4 packs for each person in the family.

I like to stock up with 3 packs per person, just to be safe. With 4 stickers per person each night, it keeps everyone covered!

Are these safe for young children?

Yes, I’ve used them for my kids, and I feel comfortable knowing they’re safe.

I even use them for my little one, who's only 6 months. However, for my kids with sensitive skin, I always place the stickers on their clothes instead of directly on their skin, just to be extra cautious. They still work just as well that way.

How long does each sticker last?

I found that each sticker is most effective around 6-8 hours, which is perfect for a day of playing outside.

If we’re out for longer, I’ll change them after 6-8 hours to make sure they’re still doing their job. But they can actually last up to 24 hours which is much longer then sprays that have to be constantly reapplied!

Do they work against ticks too?

Yes! I was actually relieved to learn that they work for ticks as well.

My older mother uses them in her garden, and I’ve used them during trips to the park. The same oils that protect us from mosquitoes also work to keep ticks away.

How long will sealed stickers last?

Once you seal the unused stickers in the ziplock bag, they last up to 24 months.

I usually keep them in the bag, and they stay fresh and ready to go. It’s nice knowing I can stock up, especially for future summers, without worrying about them going bad.

How do they work?

These stickers use natural oils like citronella and mint to release scents that confuse and repel mosquitoes.

They mask the body signals, like carbon dioxide and body heat, that mosquitoes are drawn to.

I love that it’s a natural solution, and it works great. I’ve noticed my kids don’t get nearly as many bites, even when we’re in a mosquito-heavy area.
